Our friend Jay Rigler heads up a group or the Chicago Aids Walk and allows us the opportunity to join him.
Last year we raised lot of money. I raised enough to get the official Aids Walk sweatshirt, which came in handy on my cooler running days. The 2007 Chicago AIDS Run/Walk is Saturday September 15, 2007. If you are available that day, please volunteer to walk with the team. I would like to see as many Log Cabin Republicans as possible at this event, to show the unity we feel with the LGBT community in AIDS research and treatment.
